Sweet Potato Fries

Made some baked sweet potato fries for the first time this week. I soaked the cut fries in beer all day, rinsed, pat dry and seasoned. After sprinkling with some EVO, I seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt and a couple of pinches of cayenne. Baked on parchment paper at 425 for about 35 minutes. Flip at the halfway point. Finish with another sprinkle of kosher salt.

I've was never a big sweet potato/yam person but I'm acquiring the taste. These were delicious. Home made Ranch dressing is my favorite dipping sauce for these.

    vegan blueberry mug cake
    Ingredients:
    ? cup Blueberry
    5-7 soaked overnight Almond nuts
    DRY INGREDIENTS
    4 tbsp Whole-wheat flour
    2 tbsp Sugar
    1 pinch Salt
    ½ tsp Baking powder
    WET INGREDIENTS
    8 tbsp Almond Milk
    1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    ½ tsp Vanilla extract
    A lot of vitamins and tasty!)
  • Good recipe Super Dave. I don't soak mine but I'll drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with brown sugar. I've always preferred sweet tater fries over regular fries.
  • Been buying frozen sweet potato fries for several years now. Their my favorite by far.
