Try a new T-Day dessert this year

OMG - I'm salivating again!!!

Just an update, this was one of the hits of the day, even after everyone was full to the gills with turkey and trimmings.

Without making it yet, I've already got a couple of tweaks I plan on doing to the recipe. Since coconut, pecans and caramel seems to be the theme, I'm going to make German chocolate cake frosting for the layer filling. For frosting, I'm going to use a whip cream frosting.

Super_Dave, you have just made me an offer I can't refuse! I MUST try this...

My Gramdma made that for Christmas........haven't had any since she passed many years ago.

Just might have to make one. Course it won't be as good as hers. Pretty hard to compete with Grandma.
