This is so easy to make and just season the pork chops to your liking.
Enjoy! Debbie

Yummy Baked Breaded Pork Chops

1 pork chop
salt
pepper
sage, dried
garlic powder
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs per pork chop
butter, to dot
apple juice

Line a baking tray with foil and lightly grease the foil.
Place as many pork chops that you are wanting on to the baking sheet.
Sprinkle the top surface of each chop with some salt, pepper, sage and garlic powder to taste.
Then sprinkle a tablespoon of bread crumbs evenly over top of each pork chop.
Dot the pork chops with butter.
Pour apple juice into the baking tray evenly around the chops, trying not to disturb the crumbs on top.
Place pork chops in the oven and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, checking to make sure the apple juice does not boil dry in the pan.
Once the crumbs have begun to brown on top, remove the pan from the oven.
Carefully turn each chop over without disturbing the crumb topping and repeat the process for seasoning and crumbing on the underside.
If you need more juice in the pan, once again pour it around the chops.
Return the pan to the oven and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes, or until nicely browned on top and the juices have thickened into a bit of a sauce.
Check every 10 minutes or so to make sure the pan is not going dry and top up with more juice if need be.
Serve hot with some of the pan juices spooned over top if you want. My husband did not top his with juice and he loved it.

My only suggestion is to change it up, use Italian Breadcrumbs!!
I do a triple bread when I do P Chops, flour, egg wash, Italian bread crumbs.
Walmart here has Boneless Cubed Pork Steaks (like Cubed Steak). They are EXCELLENT for breading! Come out fork tender!

Gonna give this one a try for sure. Gotta use "bone in" pork chops though. Need something to gnaw on.

I think I have everything to make those tomorrow. They look delicious. Here's a thought though. I notice in the picture that the butter seems to be localized to the spots that it was placed on. Can one use a spray butter instead to get it to cover the entire top? Or do they only make spray "fake butter"?

Thanks Debbie. We love pork chops so it's nice to see a new way to fix them. I use the non-stick foil for things like this which eliminates the greasing.

These may be tonight's dinner along with some roasted vegetables. So nice when everything cooks in the oven at the same time.

We also like to do chops in the slow cooker with cream of mushroom soup and an onion.

Camper smells so good during the process.

They look delicious. I've done pork chops as following for years: Flour and brown chops in greased pan. Transfer to oven dish and cover with sliced onions then top with the following that was mixed in a bowl: 1 can cream of chicken soup, a couple of tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 3 Tblsp. ketchup, dash of black pepper. Cover & bake slow. This makes gravy for 2 chops so if you make more, you can double the soup/gravy mixture.
