I get more help from a great group of RVers than I do from any other source of PC technical forums.. Now for my latest.. On all of my other computers, when I right click on a file, I get the option of "SEND TO" Email recipient.. and away I go.. with my new computer, I tried to do the same thing and get the message that is displayed below.. I researched this on the INET and have tried all of the fixes that come up, but I still the same message.. I have changed default mail programs..no luck.. has anyone else experienced this issue?

It is telling you you need to go into settings . . . apps . . . default apps . . . click on email and set up the default email program. It does not know what to use for one.

I'm wondering. In windows 10 if default email has to be an installed app. Not browser driven program, e.g. Gmail.

Thanks to all you who assisted me in solving this issue.. PROBLEM SOLVED.. after trying everything and making a mistake by accidentally deleting "Thunderbird" email.. I had to download and reinstall "Thunderbird".. all works just fine now.. just wondering what corrupted the previously installed version of "Thunderbird" giving me this problem.. Again, thanks to all.. you guys / gals are the best source of information available..

I was able to add a direct shortcut to Thunderbird in my "Send To" menu.

It may be necessary to assoicate that app with the E-Mail. What program are you in when you go to E-mail a file and get that Pop Up?

You may need to so something in the program settings.. Been a long time since I set up Windows to do E-mail.

yes.. Thunderbird is selected and is the SEND TO client.. still no luck.. I have even changed browsers..each time restarting the computer but same condition exists.. thanks for you inputs as I am sure it will be something basic when discovered..
