We've been with Directv since 2007 and in August I called to see if they had any promotions to reduce my monthly fee. I was given a $25 per month reduction for August and to be continuing for another 11 months. For September my month's fees are back to where they were before the discount. Called CS and nobody knows anything about the reduction and nothing available for a discount now. So I'm back to where I started in early August.
I'd sure consider switching to Dish but I have the Winegard Trav'ler for a roof dish and 2 Directv receivers. I'm not sure if the Winegard can be changed to Dish or what I would do with the 2 Directv receivers I purchased just a year ago for our new motor home.
The deal's tech installed the receivers for us and the way the front one is packed in the cabinet over the driver's seat I'm not sure I'd ever be able to change receivers myself. Boy am I glad we can now complain to AT&T.
