- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerSTERLING assistance Gordon Three! Time to download data sheets and puzzle-out the winner.
¡Mil Gracias! - GordonThreeExplorerThe only comparison that matters is power rating and lumen output at realistic temperatures. Many advertisements list a power rating and lumen output for 25 C, which is utterly unrealistic for an LED.
Cree has decent specs at 85, 105 and even 125 C. Philips Lumileds have LED rated to operate at 125 and even 150 C
I know nothing of the other brands you mention, all my engineering experience has been primarily with Philips and some Cree products.
So - check the datasheet for your favorite product, and see if they maintain their 3 watt output rating at a minimum of 85 C. - JaxomExplorerI can't compare the 3, but I've always had good luck w/ Cree.
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerAll claim 200-300 lm.
I'd rather rely on unbiased experience for an opinion. - jcpainterExplorerHow do their Lumens ratings compare for the same replacement bulb?
