Can a dish 722 use wesern and eastern arc sattelites?

I was wondering if I set up a stationary dish open face antenna in our permanent camp site we sue many time over the summer set up for eastern arc (Due to trees) and then use the Trav'ler 1000 in othe...

Thanks, the Dish 1000.2 Easern Arc LNBF states:
“Eastern Arc-compatible” receivers must be MPEG-4 (models) and must have the new G3 “Smart Card” encryption

So I am not sure if the 722 can do this or not.


Just looked it up and my 722 DVR has the MPEG 4 technology, so yipee for me!
