A Diplexer is used to combine (and then separate) a sat signal with an OTA signal.
However, if you want to used both tuners of a dual-tuner receiver like a 722, then you use a Separator.
And you can connect a Separator to any of the LNBs on a 1000.2 dish -- just not the LNB-In port.
