can't sign into E mail

Yahoo's been having a lot of trouble with hackers and they're "encouraging" users to reset their passwords. You might be running in to something like that.
I had this happen with my Chrome account a couple of years ago- I knew the password was "right", but I couldn't get in. Finally just hit the "forgot my password" button and went through the "reset" routine that establishes one as the legitimate user of the account.
No trouble since then.
