CoPilot on two devices - with 1 license

Sorry if this has been talked about elsewhere, I couldn't find an answer. Was wondering if anyone was doing this.

I want to be sure before I miss the sale price. Can I use my CoPilot app on both my iPad and iPhone? It is unclear on Copilot support page. They say something about simultaneously using them. I just want to use it on the phone when I don't have my iPad with me.

It let me download it, but since I am not at a wifi location I can't download the maps right now to be sure it will work.

I only download maps for area I want, I sure wish I had waited for this price. I have issues with it at times, but you can't beat the price.

The poi's are really old, they still have all the gulf coast casinos set, pre-Katrina, that was 10 years ago. But searching the Internet helps with that.

That said, works as well as any Nuvi I have owned.

The other part is your iPad must have a gps chip. I believe only the SIM card cellular iPads do

Also if you think about it, it does say that you can download to multiple devices but it does get confusing as to weather two systems could run it at the same time. They might figure that out, I'm not sure. But as this app is designed to run with no internet connection, as long as only one of your devices was actually connected to the internet they could never know how many devices were using it simultaneously.
By the way I just bought it 3 days ago, and have it on 3 of my devices for the one low price. It's a great GPS. Expect to use almost 3 gigs from your storage if you want the whole USA and Canada Map.

I have been using my Co-pilot app on several different devices for years without problems. Just purchased a new tablet and loaded the Co-pilot app no problem, much better than buying a new stand alone gps ever few years.

Free updates on both.
