If you've been thinking about buying a high end cell service amplifier/repeater, I read on Maximum Signal's Facebook page that they're offering $75 off either package for phone orders only. We've been extremely pleased with the service and support we've received with our Max Amp RV system, and I highly recommend it.

I'm not financially associated with Maximum Signal, just a very happy customer...

As Gord said, the carrier specific antenna thing must be a typo of some sort, Bill. We use our Max Amp RV setup with two Verizon hotspots and two Verizon cell phones, an AT&T hotspot, and have used it with a T-Mobile hotspot in the recent past, all with good results. When we were at one campground in the Pisgah National Forest in NC, one of the hosts would come stand in front of our coach now and then (by invitation) to make phone calls with his Sprint phone, so the Max Amp worked well for all of the carriers using the standard mag mount antenna supplied with it.

Must be a typo somewhere then . Never have written that . One thing . There are a couple of Sprint frequencies not covered . The old Nextel frequencies and the old Wimax Frequencies . It is illegal at this time to build an amplifier for those frequencies ( 800 mhz and 2500 mhz ). The reason is that those frequencies are also used by emergency services. I have only seen them implemented by Sprint in Urban Areas for overflow at this time.

That's a load of bull. Like saying you need an HD antenna for your HDTV.

Get whatever quad band antenna you like the looks of and it should attach just fine to the amp.

Edit: I put a Wilson marine antenna on the back of my trailer. It's heavy duty fiberglass and nickel plated brass. Wasn't too pricey as I recall. Works fine for Verizon and ATT, should do fine with Sprint.

What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?
