Direct TV satellite finder app for my phone

What program is best for us to download to find the Direct TV satellites. We just downsized into a small class c from a Class A that had the Winegard on the roof. We just purchased the Slimline Mobile Satellite on a tripod and need to know what is the best program to use

Thanks

Me neither. Deinstalling was also said, something I know as uninstalling.

Never could get that app to work on my i-phone. I tried uninstalling and updating numerous times and the satellites disappear. The version number never updates as well. Specialists, huh?

I don't know what de-licensing is or how or why I would do it so I certainly never did it when I changed phones. I downloaded the app on the new phone and signed in with my user name and password. Done!
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.

That was a great app. I purchased it @ 2009 or 2010 for $20. Shortly thereafter it became abandonware for a good period, at least 5 years. It was only recently that another entity picked it up and is now apparently supporting it. They will not honor the keys of any previous purchasers of the original developers app, so if your key was locked, say you picked up a new phone, you're dead in the water.

Screw em, Its a principal thing. A great app but not great enough to pay for it twice. Plenty of other free ones that work just as well.

Deinstall License before you get your new phone. Then use your license # on the new phone. If your phone dies before you can deinstall the license you are done unless the new support team reauthorizes it as above.

Exactly, which is BS any way you look at it. That is unless you're one of folks with the crystal ball who knows in advance when your phone id going to shitthe bed, or the date and time when your going to drop it and it gets run over by a truck. IIRC I did deinstall the license, but it would not be accpeted on the new phone and the developers would not answer support emails. This was probably around 2011/12. Their reviews at the app sites were loaded with negative ones at the time, which have now all magically disappeared.

I've reinstalled the Dish Pointer app on several phones over the past few years with no license problems. That said, I do prefer the free Winegard AR app now...
