Direct TV
Took my direct tv dish on the road and of course I can't my local channels. I don't want to buy more equipment. Is there a way to get around this or get the major channels somehow else. Thanks, Dave

This is one aspect of Direct TV that I am not happy with. I was willing to pay the extra $15 per month for local stations, but after filling out all of the paperwork, I was denied and told that we had to travel with ALL of our receivers that are in our home otherwise they would have to have a whole separate account/subscription for my RV. So I just forgo our home local stations when we are a great distance from home. Out of the 4 TV's we have in our rig I designate one TV specifically for the local stations in the area of which we are staying. The other 3 are on Direct TV.
