Dish 110/119 Reciever Setup

Question

Hi All, I have a VIP722 receiver and have been successful in setup for SAT 119.  I have the Winegard Traveler RV Dome on top of my MH.  I have read that you can enable both 119 and 110 on your receiver (maybe more?) to receive all available channels in your bundle and the dome will switch as needed.  What do I have to do to add SAT 110 into my receiver?  Thx, Jeff

First of all, there is no such thing as a Winegard Traveler DOME antenna. There is a Winegard Traveler open faced dish type antenna or a Winegard Road Trip Dome antenna. Now which do you have??

Since you say dome and switch then we will assume dome.  Yes, the dome antennas can be setup to receive 110, 119 and 129 or the Eastern Arc satellites at 61.5, 72 and 77.  The problem is that a dual tuner receiver can have serious problems trying to get both tuners to do the check switch at the same time and often takes many tries.  You need to follow the EXACT instructions that came with your dome (or download them from Winegard) so that you get the required SW64 check switch.
