I do not use face book or any other media where my real identity is known. Facebook is too risky for others to know your personal business. I am old school there. If I want you to know about my private life I will call you.
Facebook has also gotten way too many people in trouble with their places of employment or in searching for new work opportunities because it too tempting to "vent". Just look at all the sports players who have gotten themselves into DEEP trouble because they said something on one of these social media sites and, even if it wasn't meant "that way???" it was still interpreted "that way!" No thank-you.
My wife has a facebook account and she uses it a lot. But it also caused a fuss in the entire (extended) family when one distant family got ticked-off and unfriended someone, and that started an entire war, ending up everyone unfriending everyone. I told my wife to simply stay out of it. She did, but got unfriended anyway.
No, I simply stay away from facebook. My wife never posts anything now, just just reads everyone elses insanity!
