Favorites in Google chrome?

Had been using internet explorer nd all favorites are there.
Switched to google chrome and do not know how to find my favorites.
Where do I find them???
  • Favorites/Bookmarks are in your browser. In Chrome go to Bookmarks/Import bookmarks and settings (at three dots in upper right of Chrome window) and point it to your previous browser.

You can then use Bookmark Manager to organize your bookmarks as you choose.

Here is how I organize mine:
  • I use Fire Fox and have for years now, works great as does Incredimail for e-mails..

I too switched from IE a long time back when it started eating up lots pf memory to run things. I use both GOOGLE CHROME and FIREFOX on my dual 24-inch monitor screens setup here with my laptop... The only time my Laptop is opened up is to hit the start button...

I also use different folders for my favorites and can select with mouse and open the folders of my choice with mouse clicks. Kinda neat to be able to select the different favorites folders depending on what monitor mode I am using...

Alot of the time one of my 24-inch monitors get used for internet HDTV requiring different favorite's setups.

I also use Internet Public Service/Police Scanners from several different locations of interest. These give my large memory capability a big work-out...

  • In the upper right corner of your Chrome Window, there are 3 horizontal bars. Click on those and you will get a menu of options. Go down to Bookmarks in that menu. Click it and you will get another list. At the top of the list, there is an option to "show bookmarks bar". Make sure it is checked. Your bookmarks will be listed down below the "show bookmarks bar".

Also down below the "show bookmarks bar" line, you should see "bookmarks manager". Click on that and it will open a screen that lets you sort and organize bookmarks.

Your bookmarks should have automatically imported from IE when you installed Chrome. They should show in the list, or be in a folder in the list.

You can drag your always-used bookmarks to the bookmarks bar so they are right on top of your window all the time. At the right end of the bar there ais a double arrow pointer. Click on it and you can see the bookmarks that ddon't fit in the bar.

    Hope that helps.
