Fine point, aka ballpoint size won't work
Hard plastic pointed stylus worked with pressure sensitive screens, and don't work on touch/capacitance sensitive screens
I'm afraid your are going to be stuck with your notes looking like the were written by crayon, Not pen
Maybe the app, will let you select the size of the pen/brush with, like drawing programs do

This is why the Samsung Galaxy Note is a big deal - it uses a very fine tip stylus just like those used on pen tablet peripherals. It does this with a different technology in the screen than other tablets and phones use.
