follow up to internet sales post

About 10 days ago I posted a topic about honoring internet sales prices at my local Camping World store.I printed the lower internet price and headed out. When I made my purchase they did honor the lower price,but tried to charge me the shipping price.I informed the lady that under the benefits tab on their site that I would receive free shipping if I spent over 99 dollars,she turned to the register and took off the shipping price.So after all is said and done I don't know whether she just gave me this price out of frustration or whether this is what it should be?

Dennis- did you read the second part of the paragraph you quoted? I've had stores price match many times and never once did they try to factor in shipping. The only thing I was charged for that may not have been in the on line price was tax. But never shipping.

If it's already in the store, why would they try to charge you shipping in the first place? I've bought items at stores that guarantee the lowest price and, if I show them an on-line ad, they never true to charge me the shipping.

With all the complaints about camping world, I'm kind of glad there's none in my area for me to be tempted to go to. It would be nice to see items before buying them, but most anything you can buy at cw you can buy at Amazon or even Walmart. And cheaper.
