For any that need one, Motorola phone sale.

Got an e mail saturday that Motorola had put some phones on sale, I have been using a moto e for years, dw had been upgraded to a moto g play a year and a half ago, I waited and now they have some good deals on unlocked phones. I just got a Moto G , 5.5" gorilla glass screen, 32g of memory for $129. Higher end phones are marked down too.
Many models are quad band, meaning they can work on all systems CDMA and GSM with just a sim card change. Look for the ones marked carrier friendly. The version of google doesnt have dozens of crapware apps, and I am using it now as a mobile hotspot on total wireless.

The Moto g4 you have to go to the bottom of the screen, left side, moto g family and it will take you too it.
  • Thanks for the heads up. At that price I bought a G4 just in case, came yesterday.

What carrier is Total Wireless on? Funny thing is I just picked up a G5 with 64 gigs and at this time Cricket does not support the G5 as a Hot spot so I'm SOL if a stay with Cricket. Total Wireless looks pretty good!

Total wireless only uses Verizon's towers and network.
  • There are YouTube videos on how to unlock a phone, including Motorola's.
An older, less important phone, might be worth experimenting with.
It's a cheap way to gain a phone with GSM chip capabilities (for those who travel it could be of interest).

  • Thanks- just ordered one. I have been looking to replace my pitiful Windows Nokia.
