Google Earth images: tips that might be useful

I hit "save image" on Google Earth, and the image was saved in a folder on my computer. I then used 1492's great photo posting app, and am now posting the result:

I looked the house up on GM about two weeks ago and wondered the same thing.
Just Google the Amityville Horror House, you'll get a ton of pictures.
It doesn't make sense, to me.

Excellent. I use GM all the time to find possible dry camp spots.

I do estimating work and Google used to be much sharper so I could see the different mechanical equipment on a roof, past 4-5 years they lessened the resolution. It's all about preventing terrorism.

Yes -- the pin labels are more legible. If you have a Mac and are running Mojave, the shortcut to the new screenshot app is shift-command-5.
