Help - I have a Google Nexus Android phone, 1 yr old. For some reason it re-boots every time I try to do something on it. Just started last night -
I get the occassional "No Sim card" notice + then it re-boots.
I get a "Launcher has stopped " message sometimes and then it re-boots

I have also tried to do the factory re-set but it won't let me - it just re-boots.
It was working fine until last night, altho it was slow at times. By slow, I mean, slow to load pgms, apps etc.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Dave R

OP here - couldn't figure it out no matter what I did, so I took it back to Fido ( part of Rogers here in the Great White N ) They sent it back to get fixed - said it would take 2 weeks - and they gave me a loaner to keep me going. If any more issues I'll get back on here!!

Thx for all the help. links and suggestions

Cheers,

It might be dirty contacts on the sim card. A cleaning may solve the problem. If you have access to another sim card, I would try that also. A sim card is much cheaper than a new phone.

My wife had the same problem with an LG android phone. Turned out to be a bad micro-sd card. If you have one, try taking it out & see if that stops it.

Are you able to take the battery out for at least one minute? It may reboot that way. Worth a try, good luck.
