Google "Maps" app

Does anyone know how to get coordinates from Google app. "Maps"? I have an android and want the coordinates for my location.
  • Give "GPS Status" from the Android app store a try. It's free and tells you stuff you never even thought of. As a ham radio operator, I like that it can display maidenhead grid locators as well.

On edit, Is there a way to increase the text size for Google Maps for Android. Also you used to be able keep a map scale bar on top. Seem like it gets less useful as it's upgraded.
  • The OP is referring to the Android Maps app. There is no right-click.
  • Right click on a spot on the map, then select "What's here?"

try pressing and holding on the screen of your location to drop a "pin" and then click on the bottom right as if to get diections and the coords should show up as your destination.
    Hey.,., pretty cool!

That does not work for me. When I click at bottom right I get address of pin drop then click again and get time from pin drop to location.
