- dangerbirdExplorerGive "GPS Status" from the Android app store a try. It's free and tells you stuff you never even thought of. As a ham radio operator, I like that it can display maidenhead grid locators as well.

On edit, Is there a way to increase the text size for Google Maps for Android. Also you used to be able keep a map scale bar on top. Seem like it gets less useful as it's upgraded. - bwanshoomExplorerThe OP is referring to the Android Maps app. There is no right-click.
- PopsieExplorerRight click on a spot on the map, then select "What's here?"

try pressing and holding on the screen of your location to drop a "pin" and then click on the bottom right as if to get diections and the coords should show up as your destination.
That does not work for me. When I click at bottom right I get address of pin drop then click again and get time from pin drop to location. - 2oldmanExplorer II
