The only reason we keep a land line is for my pacemaker dial in check ups and we are tired of buying the high AT&T monthly bill for that. Also, it is inconvenient trying to plan our trips around when we have to be at home for a dial up pacemaker check.
If you can use a cell phone for your check you are fine . Home phone connect is basically a cell phone you can connect your normal handsets too . It does not dial up per say.
Yes this is true. We have it at our home. Works great. It is a box that receives cell phone signal that hooks up to our home phone.
