I guess not. As far as bugs and malware goes, yes. My registry updates each computer usage and it runs a full virus scan each week. It's F-secure, provided by Charter, my internet provider and has always seemed to catch things and protect me.

Do you keep your computer relatively clean internally? There is sufficient free software available to clean up your computer internally and decrease your response time.
My suggestions are Wise Registry Cleaner, Advanced System Care, CCleaner and Malwarebytes.
I agree with using Advanced System Care. I have used it for years with good results.
I too use IE and have zero complaints and I have used most of the others.
Have you tried going to Control Panel, Program and Features, Turn Windows Features on or Off? There is a check mark by Windows 11. You could try unchecking it, let it do its thing then turn it back on.

Go to the Microsoft IE site and see if it lets you download it.
What version of Windows are you using?

Just because your used to something does not mean you should keep it for ever. Do you still have the same coat you had 20 years ago? Download another browser and try it. You just might find it better and easier than what you currently have. You can have more than one browser on your computer and switch bqck and forth between them with the click of the mouse.
