Hankook AH-11...

Just wondering if anyone on here is running this tire? I just had a set of (6) 245/70r 19.5's put on my 2000 36' Itasca Suncruiser and was wondering what everyone was running for tire pressure? I had Goodyear's on the coach prior to these Hankook's and had a drive tire blowout last season. They were an F rated tire. The new Hankook's are a G rated 14 ply. The shop I had do the mount and balance had them set at 70psi when I picked the coach up. Personally I thought that might be a little low but I didn't really question it which was probably my fault. After a 30 mile drive home I checked pressure again and we were at 80psi on all of the tires. Max PSI rating is 110psi on this tire. I cannot find anything on Hankooks site about weight to pressure ratings. Figures I'd ask here.

    I've had mine for a half a dozen years. Started out at 75psi I am up to 90 and the ride couldn't be smoother. Same size tires as yours.

    Pressure specs to weight are just about the same for all brands; use a Michelin or Goodyear chart. Do NOT just guess. If you don't know your weight then run 110 until you can get weighed and consult a chart.

    I have the 2001 37G Suncruiser. I have the "G" rated Hercules Tires. I also blew 2 GY G670's (less than 5 years old). On my 2nd set of Hercules tires now. Running 95-100 psi in all 6

    Somehow Michelin can carry the same load at 5 psi less than all other load tables so DO NOT use a Michelin table. I like the 22.5 AH11s I’ve run for 30K miles.

    Inside the drivers door is a label attached by Winnie (Itasca) that gives you the tire inflation pressure needed.

    Unless you’re packing everything you own, that pressure will be just fine.

    Thanks for the info guys! I did scale the coach when we 1st bought it and I do remember the drive axle being close to the heavy number. It was full of water and everything else we usually have etc.. at that time. I'll have to look at the CAT scale sheet again to confirm.

    You are correct. It is located there, but mine is just wrong wrong wrong. Mine shows 70 psi on an "F" rated tire. At that inflation, it is totally under inflated. Had mine weighed and needed more air. Also, my label says "F" 12ply tires, but Winnie had equipped it already with "G" 14. Called Winnie about all this and they had no explanation, but did agree about the air pressure was too low on the label. Bottom line is: Know Your Weight

    The door sticker on my old rig shows 15psi underinflated for the weight; the weight is within limits. Go with the weight.

    I have been running that same tire for about 20K miles. I also called the rep and didn't get much info. I ended going with 85psi front and 90 rear on a 20002 holiday rambler F53 gasser and have been very confortable with it..

    I checked the door tag this evening and yep, that's where they got the 70psi to set the tires at. So on a cool day and 30 mile trip they all gained 10psi from heat. I found the scale sheet and I was at 13,100 on the drive axle and 5980 on the steer. GVWR is 13,500 & 7,000 so like I remembered it was pretty heavy and I didn't have a ton of room to wiggle on the back side.

    I'm going to use this chart (page 45) for my settings going forward.
