How to create a route in Google Maps & use in CoPilot

I've tried searching for answers, but have been unable to find clear, simple instructions. I want to create a route in Google Maps on my laptop and then transfer it to CoPilot on my android phone. ...

On my iPad CoPilot I save to favorites my next stop for fuel,restaurant,campground, destination etc.
Then at every stop I put the next one in as destination.

It doesn't need a complete route to get where you are going.
