How to Minimize Glare on iPad Screen?

I would like to occasionally use my iPad outdoors. However, I find it impossible due to glare, even in mostly shaded areas. I believe there is some type of plastic material that's used on smart phones for that purpose. Is there something similar for an iPad? Thanks.
  • You learn something new each day! Never heard of e-ink. :)

I was in partial shade, under a tree. I'm sure full shade would be better, along with adjusting the screen to max brightness. What is the advantage of the Kindle over the iPad?

    It’s not necessarily Kindle.
All true ereaders are glare free, different tech called e-ink

  • Thanks. I checked out Amazon. I guess I'll go that route since I buy from them already.
  • I believe Tech Armor makes a matte screen that helps with glare. It will make the screen less sharp indoors though. Be sure that the brightness is at the max setting.
  • They make all kinds of anti-glare screen protectors for ipad. Google is your friend.
