Ink Cartridge Cleaning

I ran across this idea while sitting idol ,ready to fall a sleep on the couch last night. I put my dried up nozzled cartridge in my wife's jewelry cleaner, in a 1/4 of water , and set it for 3 minutes. I be darned if the thing didn't work perfect after running one page threw the printer. Wish I had thought of this many cartridges ago. May help someone that already has a cleaner.
  • We switched to 100% laserjet printers, two black and white and one color printer. The color printer can sit for weeks or even months and no worries about the heads clogging. Also a lot cheaper per page and I can use any paper I want to use.

For pictures it is cheaper to upload the file to a lab or to Costco and have them print it on photo paper which is a lot more durable than inkjet prints.

And your wife allowed you to do this?

Or, are you in your own version of "Hot Water"???

    Great idea, by the way!
I'm good , it's really my cleaner I use for electronics, I do her a favor , and clean her jewelry in it. She thinks it's hers though.:)
