We switched to 100% laserjet printers, two black and white and one color printer. The color printer can sit for weeks or even months and no worries about the heads clogging. Also a lot cheaper per page and I can use any paper I want to use.
For pictures it is cheaper to upload the file to a lab or to Costco and have them print it on photo paper which is a lot more durable than inkjet prints.
