iOS 10 for ipad

Updated mine about a month ago when the update first showed up. No problems I can think of ... I used the iPad extensively over the past couple weeks as we were traveling a lot. Only one minor irritation comes to mind.... I now must press the Home button twice, rather than once, to get to my home screen.

I installed it day one on my iPad air 2.
I had problems from the start, had to do a cold re-boot once a day. As various app updated to iOS 10 the problem went away. It will not recognize the built in barometer gizmo yet. Any barometer or altitude app will not work.

Did it last night and it's fine

It's alright.

Nothing to brag about that's for sure.
Thing my wife and friends complain about is there is no more swipe to open.

Other than that no issues. Just adjusting to it.

I updated mine to IOS10 a couple weeks ago.

One thing I have a hard time getting used to is the change to opening it up. I am so used to swiping it that I do that by habit. Now when you press the home button then swipe it, you get a display af junk presented to you to touch and read.

I do find that rather annoying and don't like it. As mentioned you have to poke the home button twice now to open it.

Same thing on my iPhone. While I'm sure I'll eventually get used to it, I personally prefer it the other way and wish that Apple would stop messing with this kind of thing.

iOS 10 has already issued an update to it. Just installed mine tonight on my phone. They bug you to death if you don't update.....

My 2nd generation iPad got so sluggish on iOS 9 that I will not take it to 10.

My iPhone 5 is on 10, I am still trying to get used to subtle and not so subtle user interface differences. I do like how some of my apps now put notices on the lock screen, but I need to work on which apps, and maybe within the apps, which notices. Traffic info is more useful to me than the most recent shootings or convenience store robberies.

On the plus side one great new feature is the swipe from right to left brings up the camera.
I use my iPod as a backup camera, always in my shirt pocket. Now I just hit the start button once and do a quick swipe and I'm ready to shoot. No more fumbling through menus and buttons.

Well, looking at these replies, I think I'll hold off updating as long as I can. Thanks for your input.

Updated 2 iPhones and one iPad and have no problems with the updates. Big improvement in iMessages and Siri.

iOS 10 isn't available for the ipad2. But that's fine with me. Our ipad2 has been a slug since iOS 7. Safari crashes on most websites with any content. I suspect due to memory usage.
