Didn't they ask for that when you set up your apple ID. That's the way my original Ipad was set up. Macktee

Go to http://store.apple.com/us on Safari, click on the gear and login to your account. You will be able to do it there.

Or just keep a couple I-tunes cards with you and use those if you don't want your credit card on file. If you use your cc and you have kids playing games on it go to general settings and turn off the "in app purchases" if that's on no password needed and your kids may be running up your card and not even know it. It happened to me for a few hundred bucks but apple waived all the fees cause my 9 year old and myself didn't know what was going on..... I do now and it's never happened again.

There has hof to be a way to get to it going through "Settings"...

On your iPad you have an app called APP STORE.
Click it and try downloading something free.
It will prompt you to create a new Apple ID.

Settings --> iTunes & App Store.

Top line is your account information. If you are logged in, it should be just your account name. Tap on that and then tap Payment Information.

Take advantage of the Genius Bar at the Apple Store. You can make appt. through the app Apple Store Most of the time you can get an appointment the same day.

Settings, itunes&appstore, touch your Apple ID and sign in.
