Keeping track of Contacts

Morning all, I have been using a contact management program to keep track of all our family, friends and people we meet along our journey. Also to keep track of all the parks we've stayed at and notes on each one.
I am going to be losing access to this program in a few months and want to get your feedback on what you do. What's cool with this program is I can search key words to find someone or something I've made notes of. I'm a pc and android person so it would have to work with those platforms.
So any info you can share on how you do this will be great.

    If it doesn't have to be a database (ie, sortable, groupable) then a plain old text file works fine for simply searching keywords.

    I found a program specifically designed for logging RV information, including park info. It looks like it can be easily extended to include Contact information as well by just adding a new "Contacts" category to the Inventory section. It is called RV Care Log and it available for Windows, Mac, iPad and iPhone. I haven't used it yet, but it's on my list of things to get before taking off for the summer in my RV.

    I used to use Microsoft OFFICE ACCESS for that years past... They had a templet for that...

    My current Microsoft OUTLOOK Email program has a pretty good contact listing as well but more orientated for EMAILS etc...

    Pretty sure you can search online and find a FREE similar CONTACTS program...

    DOWNLOAD CNET was always a trusted place for these type of programs...

    I was looking at the software program at WALMART the other day and they had a nice bunch of small programs like - Didn't really notice one for CONTACTS as I wasn't looking for any particular. Just noticed they had a bunch of small programs... Bet OFFICE DEPOT has maybe even a better bunch of these types of office related programs...
