The LT advocates should take a look at this video. Then they should have someone explain the torque introduced into the suspension system by axle movement. The LT taller tires along with the stiffer side wall combine to create more leverage on the suspension mounts. The suspension mounts are mild steel and can be damage when flexed too far or too often. The RV suspension system benefits from the ability of ST tires to be flexible yet have a tough sidewall construction. The frame and suspension of a RV work together as a system to absorb stress and transmit to areas of the frame that can handle it.

Seeing that video convinces me that the add on Correct Track isn't something I would want. The last time I had my trailer aligned at a frame/suspension shop it was under $300.00 if I remember correctly. It only takes a couple hours.

I've had a wheel alignment/axle straightening job done in a truck/trailer shop on a previous trailer. That was 8 years ago & I recall the bill being near $1000.

I understand that the Correct Track system adjusts only the axle alignment. I am all but 100% sure that my axles are out by the difference between tires each side & Correct Track should correct this.

Individual wheel alignment through axle bending is another matter. Hoping all is good on that side of things.

I'll be doing the install in a boatyard so I will have access to all kinds of tools & blocks short of using the travel lift to pick up the trailer & hang it 6' off the ground.

Correct Track will not not give you a true alignment. It will adjust the tracking which is how square the axles are with the frame and each other, but nothing else. It does not allow for adjusting toe in or our which is the wheels pointing toward or away from each other and it does not allow for adjusting camber which is how straight up and down the wheels are. In addition the fact that it lifts the trailer up also allows more leverage to the spring hangers and frame rails and there have been reports of them twisting as the result of this. I would just go to a good heavy duty truck frame/suspension shop and get a good alignment done. probably for the same or less money as well.

I did it myself with the help of a buddy I have a new LTZ and that is 2ins higher than my old LLY. It took us 27 hours to complete the job the videos I watched made it look easy. I myself did not find it so.
Drilling from the rear side was not so easy with the belly and pipes low point valves in the way. But it did lift the coach up the 2ins and my tracking was ok by the last check I had, so I used the centre point of coin.

Nope, my springs are good. Upgraded from a 6 to 7 pack in 2013. Running BFG Commercials so have some good rubber too. Also already have the Equaflex system installed.

We do between 15,000 & 20,000 trailer miles a year. There is no skimping on the running gear underneath us.

I thought mine was out of alignment. Turns out the springs were sagging.
I thought I had bad wear due to alignment. Turned out my tires had slipped or broken belts.



Really need to remove the tire to inspect.
