- DarthMuffinExplorerFor reference a regular incandescent 921 bulb is 144 lumen. Also popular for a porch light is the 1141 bulb which is 400! So, it depends what you're looking for.
100-150 lumen would be a nice glow to illuminate the entry way. If you want enough to read by and have a poker party on your front porch, 200-250 lumens minimum would be better.
I used the starlight revolution on my old popup, and the stick on panel type on my current trailer. Both worked well. The starlight was more of a drop-in and also was behind an amber lens which I liked.
Don't rule out multiple lights. I think multiple 100-lumen lights would be a good option to give lots of flexibility. - Clay_LExplorerOne thing I forgot to mention about the Starlight Revolution LED bulb is that it can be rotated several degrees up and down to direct the light where you want it.
I have mine tilted down some.
Many people don't realize that the bulb is capable of tilting. - wcjeepExplorerIf bugs are a problem where you live/camp go Amber. I converted to Amber LED. With white light bugs would find their way inside when open/close the door. Amber nearly eliminated the problem. When camped next to white lighted campers I have zero bugs at my doorstep.

I went a little dimmer for our porch light, 100 lumens. I didn't want to blind anyone just give us enough light to unlock door and see the step, maybe a little ambiance if we are sitting around. It is plenty bright, for my requirements, I could go a little dimmer for my needs.

It all depends on what you want from your porch light. I wanted something I could leave on when boondocking that wouldn't drain the battery but would show me where the MH is and let me find the steps and the lock. - JimBollmanExplorerI went a little dimmer for our porch light, 100 lumens.
