Map program to display GPS of cities ONLY

I am using BaseCamp 4.6.2. I have an usual requirement. I want to display a map with CITIES ONLY. No roads. Is there a way. Currently I use the "lowest" display setting but this does not display the cities. Any suggestion ???

Can you suggest a different mapping program (cities only) that I could export the waypoint to?

    Very good question. It is a necessary requirement to keep my son (a traveling salesman) happy.

    Have you tried google earth? The pro version is now available for free, and I believe cities are on a separate layer from streets. Beware data usage if you're on a limited plan.
