MV 3500T WINEGARD

Question

I have trying to get my rear br tv to work again . I changed zip codes and the rear tv never did work . We have Direct tv and everything worked fine before changing zip codes. I have a 3500t Winegard receiver and have HR 23-700 Direct receiver up front that works fine . The problem is the HR 24-100 in the rear br giving me the problems . I would like to know if anyone has this setup and what your satellite settings are . I have my satellite set to Dish Type :04 Slimline-5 , switchtype : 02: Multiswitch, Tuner : Single,

Both dual tuner receivers would need to be set to single tuner and I would recommend that you set both to 18" round (others will work but Slimline 5 would not be recommended).  Each receiver should have only one cable plugged into the Tuner 1 port and each of these must run directly from the antenna to the receivers.

What  should the Switch Type be?

Multiswitch is your only option unless you install a SWM8 switch and I don't think you want to go that route unless you want to be able to use both of your DVR's and their 4 available tuners.

I been wanting to get the Geni from Direct  , can that work  with MV3500T Winegard Satellite?

"It can", but it cannot work without the addition of the DirecTV SWM8 hardware and the dome (no dome) can receive the DirecTV HDTV programming.
