This is a 2012 dish and is SD, not HD.
DirecTV screen tells us X771 (can't find satellite). Took to a RV service center and it turns out there is one bad cable...maybe (still checking).. This dish has three cable outputs and maybe only two are needed, says the tech.
We want to add another receiver in the bedroom (none there now) so DW can watch separate programming in bedroom while The King watches football or dumb movies up front.
DirecTV tech here couple of days ago and said probably a cable problem.
Can anyone give me a overall view of the SK3003 and how many cables do I need.
Thanks
The coax's running from the LNB to the top of the turret go into ports labeled A_B_C(D?). The port C coax at the top of the turret as that carries the control signal as well. At the base you can connect to any of the available outputs or you can swap the A and B cables on the top of the turret to see if your connection returns. You do need to run one coax to each receiver input so 2 single tuner receivers would need just one coax run to each but a DVR would need to coax runs and the second receiver would need a 3rd.
