Trying to figure our what I need to put up a outdoor WiFi antenna in our park. I would like to set up a wireless router so two laptops and a printer can connect. Be specific if you can. i haven't been able to figure it out by reading.

Right now on the back of my RV, strapped to the ladder is a flag pole.. no flag, though there is a Linksys WGA-54G on top of the post, somewhat weather proofed. and with a "Cantenna" mod to make it directional.

This feeds the Belkin inside the house (motor home)

Which is feeding (Among other devices) this laptop.

The Belkin router (And I might all routers) think the WGA is a cable Modem and treat it as such.

Set up is a bit of fun as I have to MANUALLY set the IP address for the wan side of the router in order to access the router's set up, and in a few parks something weird happens and keeps me from accessing the router.. though it works.

But you should be able to figure it out.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

Look at www.wifiranger.com I have been using the Go to connect all of our devices and very satisfied. Thinking about adding the Mobil to my Go. Folks at wifi ranger very helpful.

For years been using
EnGenius EUB9603H Wireless USB Adapter
EnGenius EAG-2408 Outdoor Antenna and Trend SMA to N type feedline inbetween. It's not exactly the setup you ask about. EnGenius has been expanding their product line to reel-in those weak Wifi signals. http://www.engeniustech.com/

This combined with a wireless router that has a removable antenna to connect a N cable.

Not sure.
Did you look at what I recommended?
Go to Hawking web site and look at all possibilities.

You are on the right track but take a look at the Hawking site for all suggestions. I opted for an omnidirectional 15db on my last setup.

Does it have to be an outside antenna? What repeater do you have?

I have a Hawking Repeater Router HAW2R1. It works really well. It picks up weak signals from the RV park, amplifies them and it includes a router just like you want.

If you are connecting to a distant WiFi source, you need to not only receive the signal but also be able to transmit back to the source, as I understand it. Wifi is a 2 way process. JMHO

Are you the park internet source wanting to share with others or are you a camper wanting to receive a WiFi signal being broadcast from the park office?
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

assuming you mean you want to 'connect' to weak park WiFI
and have the router inside the RV for the PC's and printer

you want a Wifi "REPEATER" connected to an external antenna
often called a "range extender"
hawking has one called the HWREN1, mine is several yrs old and there are newer models available

you connect one PC via ethernet cable, to do the setup and choose the camp wifi to be 'extended'
after that your PC's , pads, phone etc. connect via wifi like any access point
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

An example of one antenna that may work if the cables will work with your router...

Not sure what you want to do but I assume you have a WiFi Router and want to extend it's outdoor range?

Details

You will need an outdoor grade antenna that works with your router, but your router will need external antenna connections available as shown in the picture.
