- jerem0621Explorer IIThree days later and I am enjoying my little watch...it does exactly what I wanted it to do...tell the time and buzz my wrist when I get a call or a notification.
It doesn't monitor my heart beat but it does do quite a bit.
I have a watch face that serves as my medical alert...since I'm diabetic. so I feel better about that.
Nevermind that I am at 50 ish % battery life left on my first charge with pretty heavy use...I'm very pleased.
If you are considering a smart watch... And don't need the fancy touchscreen on your watch, consider the long battery life, notification getting, pebble brand.
Thanks!
Jeremiah - jerem0621Explorer III bought my watch tonight...I went with the original pebble...the pebble time's screen was just too dim.
I will report on my experience, so far so good.
Thanks!
Jeremiah - jerem0621Explorer IIThanks for the feedback folks.
There are some features that I really like about the Pebble Watch... Mostly three features.
1) 4-7 day battery life
2) The always on face
3) The screen is readable in bright sunlight
The notifications are pretty nice too. Seems to help augment a smart phone pretty well.
The Apple watch is fantastic though. Much to noodle.
Thanks!
Jeremiah - Pirate1ExplorerHad one, returned it. I found I just wasn't interested in yet another device to mess with. More buttons to push for info I just didn't need that bad. I replaced it with my old reliable G-shock casio that I have been using for the past 20 years.
- Ranger_SmithExplorerHad one. Sold it and saved up a few more bucks and got an Apple Watch.
