Phone for tracfone

I ordered a Sansung GT C3520BLK Unlocked GSM Phone will be here Monday, I ordered this phone to use on Consumer Cellular, but about to change my mind and go with tracfone how can I tell if this Phone will work on tracfone I know I can probably go to a dealer, but thought I would ask forum members might not need to go to a dealer, I have a tracfone now but wanted a better phone, also have a consumer cellular nether one very good not the service but the phone. Learned a lot doing two ZTE's. Do not activate minute card before calling to activate phone. They gave me my service time but no minutes. Played hell getting em back.
Your Verizon password/pin for My Verizon is not the same as when you open you account. After three tries finally called Verizon and got the proper PIN number. Tracfone took just a few minutes to activate after that.
Second phone I activated on the internet, by the rules, and it did not take more than 15 minutes from start to finish.

Tracfone almost always has at least one older phone available at that price point. Their website currently lists the Samsung S125G for example, at $9.99 with double minutes. I do prefer the triple minutes, text, and data on my ZTE Valet though.

this morning at wal mart they had a tracfone on sale for $9.95 with double minutes. I think regular price was either 19 or 29$

Shut my data off. Wifi takes care of my needs. Of course I'm one of those that doesn't need a connection in every nook and cranny. If I did my iPad would serve me better and it has a couple of great free internet phone apps. Now if they would sell Tracfone data card for it that would be kinda neat.

Yep, I've really been enjoying my Valet too. It'll be interesting to see which makes/models Tracfone releases next. I expect 4G data is still quite a ways off though.

Typically, Tracfone models ending with a 'G' use AT&T or T-Mobile's GSM networks depending on your purchase location, and those ending with a 'C' use Verizon's CDMA network. All of the current Tracfone Android smartphones use Verizon's CDMA and 3G data.

Bumpy-Verizon is one of several carriers, Wife has Tracphone on Verizon and strength of signal is as at least as good as the Verizon she used to have.

tracfone uses several different carriers depending on the exact phone model you buy. don't know if they have a verizon model but somebody here gave the secret code as to what the various model/serial numbers mean as far as carrier.

When we go camping, sometimes my wife's phone works but my Samsung almost ALWAYS works. The network coverage differences amaze me. So I grumble every month when I write out the check to Verizon, but I have a little satisfaction when I think of the network service coverages and performance that I typically get.
