I have power going to the Back up monitor. How can I tap onto that to power a Dash Cam?

I just found a vacancy in the fuse block that was powered on with the ignition key. Got one of those "Tap a fuse" or "Add a fuse" at the auto parts store - powered it off of that. ST

Locate the power wire to the monitor and tap into that.
Probably runs up the driver's side A pillar cover.

First, both devices must use the same input power.
If both use raw 12 V, then it should be fairly easy.

If either requires it's own power supply, then it gets a bit more complicated.

Knowing the make and model of each device would make this discussion a LOT easier.
