There is a "sticky" with the information how to contact a DIRT member.. they are great and can answer all of your questions.
I'm not sure if you can get a receiver with 2 tuners but I have a VIP211k and it does have both over the air receiver and a dish receiver so I can watch one while recording on the other.
I believe that the new Wally receiver allows a usb drive to be connected to make it a DVR receiver.
Again the best help I have found is with the DIRT members of the satellite guys forums.
