- Check your caps lock and no the two are not convertible, Dish and Direct are 100% incompatible when it comes to the receiver. 33% on the antenna.
The VIP-211 receiver line will work with a Dish Tailgater or Winegard Pathfinder as a single receiver, it can see all 3 of the western arc satellites under receiver control,, (Or all 3 of the eastern with the Pathfinder X-2).
The Pathinder can also see the Direct TV Standard (NTSC) defination bird at 101, but it can not see the HIGH DEF birds at 99 and 103,,
The only antenna that can see all 3 DirecHDTV birds is a dish type,, No dome can do it at this time. - You need a new receiver.
