RF Mogul installer at Quartzsite Jan 2016?

We have the Gen1 RF Mogul setup. Ready to order the upgrade to get the sat system operational again.

Is there going to be someone who has already installed the upgrade?

Well, in any event, RFMogul will have "people" at Quartzsite.

It's kind of a long story but as it was explained to me, MotoSAT sold/gave away too much stock and the investment company got controlling interest. It did not take long for all the founders to be shown the door. No one left the company they founded voluntarily.

Actually the employees in question were fired because they would not sign a non competition agreement with the new owners. This is first hand from one of those fired

MotoSAT was not a good product in my opinion and RF Mogul was a significant improvement. The Eagle version is solid in my opinion. While some of the better dissatisfied MotoSAT employees formed RF Mogul they are 2 entirely different companies.

Still......Re-buy a bad product hoping the next product won't be as bad?
I so don't get the loyalty that MotoSAT/RF Mogul owners and dealers have for these products when these same things happen year after year.

My understanding is that the equipment upgrade is $1200, but my information may not be current.

$1500? Isn't that the cost of a entirely new antenna?

I don't know what area of CA he works in. He and his son both have vans and work out of Premier RV in Junction City during the summer. He said he goes to S CA during the winter his son doesn't. Lots of work for good techs with all of the snowbirds.

CA Traveler. Agree. Cal will be where? Last I read the Cajon Pass is torn up and personally I hate going down into Hades.

Advanced Satellite in Junction City knows what they are doing and I believe the owner with his van will be in S Calif this winter. Contact Cal and ask. About $1500 for the upgrade.
