I have S&T 2013 and use it for planning. Easy to use to get routes and mileage and I use a Garmin for navigation. Since 2013 is the last year of this discontinued product what is a good alternative...

I use the online maps whenever, but I really like having the data files loaded on my machine, or whatever. Online maps are the best IF you have internet or wireless access. Without, they are worthless. Our new Nuvi is good for the same reasons, but if you are lost at night,in the rain, when you can't see the road signs, IF any, the Nuvi will lead you into trouble every time!
