Top of world Hwy with dash camera

Last summer we took the Alaska Hwy and the Top of the world highway and at every curve, and hill we wished that we had spent the money for a dash cam. As I now search every thing requires that it be ordered. Doesn't any one sell these in their stores? Plus does any one know what the record time is for say a 32gig memory disc? I do not want to spend an arm and leg for one. I am looking at this one Blueskysea G1W-C Dash Cam but have never had any luck with anything shipped from China.

  • I just got one at a Wally World in Fort Myers, FL. $39.99 and seems to work fine!

I've seen them for sale at big truck stops, same isle as the gps and radio 'n such.

Does Florida have "Fry's", or is that just a west coast store?

I have not seen a Frys but I have a T/A and a Pilot/Flying J close to me I will hike over and see what they have.....thanks never thought of them...

  • That one is not on sale at any store, that I know of.

I have looked at and bought a few dash cams in the lower price range and have had luck on only one the G1WC I like this one because of its size and ease of operation also the quality of the video and playback. The mirror mount is a must, much better that the suction cup.

I purchased it from Estore 009 I have used this vendor several times and they are fast and reliable, the last thing I bought from them arrived in 5 days.

I use the 16 Gig in mine now, that gets about 2.5 hours of recording, that is a lot to edit.I did use a 32 but found that it took too long to down load and edit,so now I have a few of them and just change them out when I get a place that I want to see. Believe me there is a lot of boring road shots to wade thru to get to the good parts.
  • If you have an Android Phone this would do what you are looking for.
I used it for a while and it worked very well.
