Hulu yes Hulu plus live tv no ... you have to be on the home network. I tried it with my sister-in-lawโ€™s used there login and all was fine until I left their WiFi Roku and Fire donโ€™t work. I can log in on the phone and get locals where I am but I have to use the mobile device. They wonโ€™t give an account to someone with just a mobile cellular account. Again thatโ€™s the โ€œlive tv โ€œ cable channels and locals . Thatโ€™s what I found but Iโ€™d love to find different.

I use YouTube TV for my live tv and havenโ€™t encountered issues watching tv on the road. Interesting that Hulu Live would restrict you.

Yes, we use Roku boxes hooked to tv and can get to most streaming apps including Hulu. Just need decent WiFi connection.
