Unable to open photos in email

I have new Samsung galaxy tablet and many times when I get email with pictures I get a message :"couldnt load photo" when trying to open it,,

Tried to save it to device storage and then open but that doesnt work either..
What could be the cause of this and how can I fix it,,
Btw
I use two different emails,one gmail and one microsoft hotmail,,

Thanks guys,I finaly figured whats wrong ,,had to sync all email adresses and it seems to work now,,just wonder why wouldnt all this be done automaticaly by the unit,,??

What email app are you using? Try K-9 Mail app (free) and you should get your email photos.
