Unlimited wobbly wide web

Hi all,

I'm into my 2nd month with Sasktel's unlimited data. I deliberately went over the 15 gig (actually 15,833) limit to cause throttling. The speed remained adequate to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime movies on my laptop.

I see no difference at all between throttled and unthrottled.

I am one happy camper! Cost is $125 per month plus tax. I did get $10 off per month for byod.

The range of the "hotspot" on the phone is at least 50 feet. I do have it "broadcasting" on channel 13 to avoid other wifi signals.
  • Hi Lenny,

Nope. The plan does cover long distance charges to USA if you are calling from Canada. Once you cross the border the plan becomes out of this world expensive $7 for 500 megs of data per day, and $3 for calling and texting.

I do have a Bell phone that has 15 gigs of Data and unlimited calling in Canada and USA. Telus also offers a "North American" plan.

Do they offer a Canada/USA plan with unlimited data?
