Unless you have lots of older software or hardware that simply will not run under 64bit. Microsoft is horrible and keeping any backwards compatibility. Thats ok if all you do is basic word processing, spreadsheets, email and web browsing. But for anyone else, changing to a new OS from MS results in very high expenditures in updating to new hardware and software without gaining much in return.
